Privacy Policy

InjuryUp Law is the trading name of Daily Law PLLC. This policy explains what we collect when you use injuryup.com, why we collect it, who we share it with, and what you can ask us to do about it.

Information you give us

Our free case review form asks about your accident: whether you were injured, what type of accident it was, the nature of your injuries, whether you have received medical treatment, where and when it happened, and whether you believe someone else was responsible. At the end of the form we ask for your name and phone number so we can reach you. An email address is optional, and the form works whether or not you give one.

If you call or email us instead, we hold whatever you choose to tell us in that conversation.

Information we collect automatically

When you submit the form we read the IP address the submission came from and use it only to limit how many submissions can be sent from the same address in an hour, which keeps the form from being flooded by automated spam. That count is held in memory for a short period and is not written to a database. Our hosting provider also keeps standard server logs, as any web host does.

We use Google Analytics to understand how people find and use the site: which pages get visited, how long people stay, roughly what part of the world they are in, and what kind of device and browser they use. Google Analytics sets cookies so it can recognise a returning visit, and it uses your IP address to work out an approximate location without storing the address itself. We do not use any of it for advertising, we do not run remarketing, and there are no advertising pixels or social media trackers on this site.

When someone completes the case review form we record that a form was completed, so we know how well the site is working. We do not send any of your answers or your contact details to Google.

If you would rather not be counted, Google publishes a browser add-on that turns Google Analytics off on every site you visit, and most browsers let you block or delete cookies in their settings.

Fonts are served from this site rather than an outside provider, so simply reading these pages does not report your visit to a font host.

How we use your information

• To send you a confirmation message, where you have given us an email address.
• To protect the form against spam and abuse.
• To measure how the site is used, so we can make it work better.
• To meet our professional, ethical and legal obligations as a law firm.

Sending this form does not make us your lawyers

Submitting the case review form, or contacting us through this website, does not create an attorney-client relationship. That relationship begins only when you and we have both agreed to it in a signed retainer agreement. Until then, please do not send us confidential or sensitive information through this website. If a filing deadline is approaching, call us on 718-212-UPUP (8787) rather than relying on the form.

Calls, texts and emails

When you submit the form you are asking us to get in touch, and you agree that we may contact you about your case at the phone number you gave us, including by text message. Standard message and data rates may apply. You can tell us to stop contacting you at any time and we will.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with advertisers. We share it only in these situations:

• With the service providers that operate this website on our behalf. Postmark delivers form submissions to us by email, Vercel hosts the site itself, and Google Analytics measures how the site is used. All of them act on our instructions.
• With co-counsel or referral attorneys where that is appropriate for handling your matter.
• Where we are required to by law, a court order, or our professional obligations.

How long we keep it

Form submissions reach us as email rather than being stored in a database on this website. We keep them for as long as we need them to respond to your enquiry and to satisfy the record-keeping obligations that apply to law firms, and then we delete them.

Your choices

You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or ask us to stop contacting you. Use the contact details at the end of this page and we will respond. Depending on the state you live in, you may have further rights under local privacy law, and we will honour those where they apply to you.

Security

Your submission travels to us over an encrypted connection and is delivered to our inbox by a reputable email provider. No system is completely secure, though, so we cannot promise absolute security, and that is one of the reasons we ask you not to send sensitive material through the form.

Children

This website is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle your information, we will update this page and change the date at the top.
